Industrialized Construction

Panel Debate

A panel debate entitled ‘Construction solutions. The path towards industrialised construction’ was programmed at Qualicer 2014.  Ten years later much have been accomplished but there is still a lot of work to do.  In this second edition, the panel will again analyse the current situation and the initiatives that can set ceramic tile, in the best position, for a world that needs more efficient, sustainable and faster construction at lower costs and with quality assurance that also provides security for designers, builders, developers, and clients. The ceramic tile industry needs to continue to lead, the development and analysis of construction solutions, that extend its benefits, by linking them to the other construction materials.  And it needs to get involved in this growing sector of 2D and 3D modules, from which everything, from single-family homes to large buildings, can be designed.  This will not only help to guarantee the future of our industry but also the development of the industrial areas in which the ceramic industry is now established with new factories and production facilities for industrialized construction.  Future is full of opportunities in this new field.
